What happens if we want to buy the hot tub?
This is possible. All you need to do is let one of our team know and we can go through the costings of this for you. You can also buy a hot tub directly from the manufacturer and at competitive prices. Please ask us for more details.

I have a problem with my hot tub on the day, what should I do?
Please contact us on our freephone number 0800 0839720 or alternatively email sales@lchottubhire.co.uk. If this is out of office hours, then we will supply you with a contact telephone number to contact during this period.

What hot tubs do you use?
We use Rotospa hot tubs, the UK’s market leader in the manufacture of hot tubs. These hot tubs are of the highest quality and are all solid based. We do not use any hot tubs which are inflatable or any cheap imitations.

Do we need to empty and clean the hot tub before the installers pick up the hot tub?
The hot tub will be required to be drained before it is being pick up. This can be completed by unplugging the plug at the bottom of the Hot Tub. Please call the office if you require any assistance with this and we will be able to help during collection.

How will the installers check for damages?
The installers will complete a condition report when they are due to pick up the hot tub which will check for any damages that may have occurred during the hot tub hire period.

What will happen if there are any damages which have occurred during the hire period?
If there are any damages to the hot tub, then a charge of no more than £250.00 will be charged to the cardholder who has paid for the hot tub hire. The amount payable will depend on the damage incurred.

Can we hire the hot tubs in the winter?
Absolutely, yes! Hot tubs in the winter are one of the best times of year to hire. Just imagine sitting in your hot tub whilst it is snowing, and you are nice and warm in the tub. We also offer gazebos in the winter for a fixed price, so you can enjoy your hot tub amongst the great outdoors!

How do I know that the hot tubs are clean?
We will clean the hot tubs with sanitiser when we first deliver the hot tub and then we will also clean the hot tub during collection. We will also deep clean the hot tub when the hot tub goes back to our depot to ensure that the hot tubs are extremely clean and safe to use. Your health and safety is our main priority. Also after every use we will replace or sanitise the filter. This is to ensure that the hot tubs are to the highest level of cleanliness.

What are the measurements for the Orbis hot tub?
The measurements are 1800 mm exterior diameter and 740mm deep so it is important to measure all areas of where your hot tub is going to go from the start of your house to the garden. Please give us a call or email us for any enquires relating to this.

What do you need from me?
You will need to make sure that there is sufficient access in your garden for the Hot Tub and you must ensure that you can fit the Hot Tub into your garden (either through a gate or through a doorway). Measure the narrowest part of your gate or door. If the narrowest part of your door/gate is over 2 metres (vertically) and over 1 metres wide (horizontally) then you should have sufficient access. Also, be aware of any tight turns or steps in your garden or house as the hot tub cannot be taken apart and made any smaller to fit in certain areas. You should also allow a space of approximately 3 metres for the hot tub to be situated as most of our hot tubs are 2 metres diameter.

Are the hot tubs electrically safe?
Yes, all our hot tubs are safe and inspected regularly. They also use a Residual Current Device (RCD) which is there to offer extra safety. Please in no circumstances use any electrical appliances whilst you are in or near the hot tub. This is your responsibility and is highlighted in our Terms and Conditions.

Will I need to add any water into the hot tub once it has been filled up?
You shouldn’t need to fill up the hot tub with any water during your hire period once it is filled up. However, in rare instances you may lose some water in the Hot Tub due to splashing which would then mean you would need to top up the hot tub with some more water.

How long does it take to set up and fill up the hot tub?
On average it should take approximately 15 minutes to set up the hot tub. Then it should take about 1- 2 hours to fill up the hot tub which is also dependent on your water pressure.

How much electricity does it cost to run?
People presume that the electricity costs are expensive however a rough guide states that the average costs are approximately 70p to £1.00 a day to run once the hot tub has been heated up. The cost to heat up the hot tub is approximately £4.00.

Do I need to shower before and after use of the hot tub?
It is recommended that you shower before and after using the spa. This is to prevent cross contamination in the water.

Do I have to be in when the hot tub is delivered?
Yes, we require one adult over the age of 18 to be at the address for delivery. This is so you can help to locate where the hot tub is going to go and so that we can demonstrate to you how you should use the chemicals to keep the hot tub hygienically safe throughout your hire.

Can I move the hot tub once it has been delivered?
No, once the hot tub has been put into place please do not attempt to move the spa. This is because of Health and Safety regulations.

How much water is in the hot tub?
The Orbis hot tub contains 800 litres of water.

Can I put my own chemicals in the hot tub such as soap or bubble bath?
No, please do not use any chemicals, soaps or bubble bath as this will damage the hot tub. Please only use the chemicals which we provide you with.

Can I use the hot tub if I suffer from heart problems, diabetes or high or low blood pressure?
It is recommended that you consult your doctor about using the hot tub if you suffer from any of the above.

How many people can I fit in the hot tubs?
You can fit between 4 and 6 adults in the Orbis hot tub, however you can fit a larger quantity of children in the hot tubs.

How much is the deposit cost?
The deposit cost for the hot tub hire is £50.00 which will be required to be paid by cash or card.

Are you insured?
Yes we are insured for 5 million pounds with the Insurance advisor Blythin and Brown.

Will I be required to add the chemicals to the hot tub?
We will set up the hot tub and put in the correct amount of chemicals to set you up with. You may be required to top up the correct chemicals during the the rest of your hire period however we will give you all of the necessary instructions on how to do this correctly.

How long does it take for the water to heat up in the hot tub?
It all depends on the outside temperature and you should allow 12-14 hours. Please allow up to 24 hours if the weather is particularly cold and a shorter amount of time in the summer months.

Can I fill the hot tub with hot water?
No, temperatures which exceed 40 degrees can cause damage to the hot tub.

Who fills the hot tub?
We will fill up the hot tub for you and we will supply a hose pipe. As long as you have access to a water supply and an outside tap then this will be sufficient.

Can I put the hot tub anywhere?
The hot tubs can be put onto patio areas, decking and grass as long as the area is relatively flat and level.

Do the hot tubs come with a cover?
Yes, all our hot tubs come with a cover so that you can retain the heat of the water when you are not using it.

How fast do you deliver?
This depends on how busy we are. It would be best to book in advance to ensure that we have availability, however if we have a booking slot available then we would be able to deliver the next day.
